Short answer: Usually one (1), sometimes two (2) or even three rarely (3).
This all depends on client preference, the scope of the tasks to be completed, size of the house etc.
Maintenance cleanings will usually be completed by (1) cleaner. Deep/Initial cleanings may be completed by (2) and sometimes (3) cleaners so as to keep the time taken to clean manageable and effective.
Can you imagine spending a full 6-12 hours deep cleaning a house by yourself? You might start out full of energy and good intentions however after a couple of hours…well lets just say its better to have multiple cleaners for the larger jobs.
Yes, all your future scheduled maintenance cleanings will be completed by the same cleaner you are accustomed to. In the event your cleaner is unavailable due to illness, vacation or some other circumstance, and re-scheduling the appointment does not provide an acceptable remedy to the situation then we may then schedule another superior cleaner, with your approval, so that there is no interruption to your scheduled cleanings.
Cleaning times vary widely and are affected by a number of things including home size, scope of work, home condition before cleaning start, clutter to name a few things. Deep/Initial cleans take longer as the home is bought up to the superior standard however subsequent maintenance cleanings are usually completed much faster, especially once your cleaner becomes acquainted with your home over time.
The number of cleaners will also dictate the actual time spent cleaning your home. For example:
If you have subscribed to regularly scheduled maintenance cleanings on an ongoing basis, after some time you may notice that your cleaner comes and goes taking less time than in the past…don’t freak out! This usually just means that your cleaner is fully up to speed and fully familiar with you home and can now complete their cleaning tasks in a more efficient manner and time. Of most importance is that the same quality clean that you have come to expect is being maintained.
Where appropriate and/or deemed needed, your cleaner may rotate in other tasks such as inside fridge, oven, cabinets, deep cleaning certain areas at no additional cost.
Please don’t direct your cleaner(s) to take on more tasks to fit the time schedule you may have developed in your head and may have become accustomed to. House cleaning is hard work! As long as your home’s standard of clean is being regularly maintained, and in some cases exceeded, there is nothing to worry about.
If still concerned (something seems to be neglected or quality seems to be diminishing), you could talk to your cleaner(s) directly so they are aware of your concerns and/or

In some cases, such as with Deep/Initial Cleanings, cleanings may be charged by the “hour” for services provided. Example: 4hrs @ $20 = $80
Hourly charges are generally used for larger jobs, with varying tasks, where it is determined that a flat rate charge can not be realistically determined and/or would not be suitable.
Generally though, maintenance cleanings use a flat rate charge. Example: 1 cleaning @ $80 = $80
You schedule 4 total hours of cleaning.
We send 1 cleaner.
The cleaning will take 4 hours total to complete and you will be billed for the requested 4 total hrs of cleaning.

Short answer is NO. Your cleaner is providing a contracted service by cleaning your home and as a professional house cleaner should be aware of what they are doing.
Feel free to discuss your cleanings and give feedback, however be careful that you do not direct them or tell them how or when to do their job as this could make you liable for any Governmental Taxes on their behalf as your relationship could be classified as that of employer and employee.
Just contact us here or at bermuda house cleaning @ gmail.com [Remove spaces] if you wish to negotiate the scope of work being done by your cleaner.
We ask that customers receiving cleanings have all cleaning supplies and tools, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms easily accessible so that the cleaner(s) can get right to work without any delays upon scheduled arrival.
The best way to prepare for your cleaners is to straighten up as much as possible. That way the cleaners can focus their efforts on cleaning up dust and grime, not putting things in their places. “
It’s best if people pick up or straighten up their items,” like toys and clothes. This will ensure that your cleaners time is managed more effectively and you get the most out of your cleanings.
